Family sponsorship serves as a means to bring families together in Canada. Canadian citizens and permanent residents have the option to sponsor their relatives for immigration to Canada through various sponsorship programs.

The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) is a program designed to assist temporary foreign workers and international students already residing in Canada in utilizing their work experience and educational background to pursue permanent residency in Canada.

PNPs are programs that have been designed by provincial governments in cooperation with IRCC to facilitate the process of settling, finding work, and adapting in specific provinces in Canada for specific groups of foreign nationals. Within these programs, each province decides based on its requirements what groups of foreign nationals would do better and help boost the local economy.
